with orders straight from Eva Morales, matias has been going around asking people to lend their special pokemon to the scientists of the league for the sake of research and nothing more.

his own contribution is his electrode who has already met the head professor once before and even had the pleasure of battling her dewgong.

Despite his departure from the League, this was a task that Thomas didn't mind contributing to. Matias didn't have to really pull his leg to get him to bring in his Hisuian Growlithe. The opportunity to study these Pokemon in depth alone was enough to motivate him. Pokemon biology was one of his favorite subjects, after all.

Despite his eyes being obscured by white, fluffy bangs, the horned pup didn't have much, if any trouble navigating the area.

Thomas would guide the pup to where he'd be studied by scientists.

Mirage must be the first of many, many other hisuian zoroarks who signed up for an official examination. However, Katherine's own is the first to arrive since it undoubtedly wants to get out of here as soon as possible. Not yet known for its bitterness, the Baneful Fox pokemon puts it on full display today.

It growls when touched, snarls when asked to walk somewhere else and only barely manages to stop itself from lunging at other pokemon while it waits for instructions.

Hisuian or not, he's still Katherine's pokemon.

Eva was indeed among many of the scientists present. She was busy taking samples and collecting data from the various pokemon presented to them today. Just like the volunteers, Eva had brought one of her own pokemon to collect from.

The Goodra, a rather gentle creature even in Hisuian form, waddles along in line with its large, heavy shell upon its back. She did her best to demonstrate her uniqueness. She showed off her OVERCOAT ability and was sure to dazzle the scientists with some steel-type and dragon-type moves. When prompted, she obediently let her trainer collect some samples of the mucus that coats her soft body and the hard shell that distinguishes her from her Kalosian counterpart.

When finished, her sticks close to Eva, making sure her trainer isn’t bothered by the more vicious of the Hisuian forms.

the shiny fox trembles as it stares down the other pokemon. there's so many in one place...

even after illeana turns, plucks the off-colored fox from the ground, and busies herself with the exam, the zorua is still frightened. it spends the rest of the time perched on her shoulders, claws digging in to keep from falling with her movement.

and as Katherine Fairburne 's zoroark grows more callous across the room, the smaller fox whines softly to head home.

A request for pokemon with a special form called hisui was summoned to help with a job. At first, Genesis had no idea what they were talking about. Reading into the finer details, it said these pokemon came from the distortions. Lucky for her, the raven haired woman had one of those.

The typhlosion shifted her weight, half opened gaze shifted from one human to the next. She remained silent, moving when asked and doing whatever they told her to do. It was only when they would try to touch her ears she would growl. The weasel baring her teeth, making her point to leave her ears alone. How long would this take?

When Toshiaki heard about research for Hisuian Pokemon he felt a wave of relief. He could get answers for his strange Zoroark then! Though, he only allowed it on ONE condition. That he would be present so his Pokemon wasn’t scared or worse, lash out violently at the researchers. [break][break]
Zoroark hasn’t been very obedient, but Toshiaki sympathizes with him. After all, it must be downright terrifying to come to a world you know nothing about. He felt the same way being thrown back into society from his sheltered, rich life.. He waves as Zoroark is led to a different room, Toshiaki being able to see him through the plexiglass.[break]

If the good doctor was giving free exams to the pokémon affected by the distortions Sénon wouldn't miss the chance for a check up.

Photos, measurements, and specimen samples were standard. Even though his wasn't the first altered typlosion, nor was it the first one with such a shiny coat, they gratefully took the samples all the same.

When it was done his new ghost/fire type was released with a clean bill of health but there was no real information he ascertained about why the pokémon were being affected the way they were and what was going to be done about it.
